O’s Notes: This powerful duo is Swedish Lars Danielsson on bass & cello paired with the Polish Leszek Mozdzer playing piano, celesta and harmonium. They play fourteen originals mostly written by Danielsson. They range from the racy and dynamic “Pasodoble” to the peaceful notes of “Daughter’s Joy”. They share a lot of common ground and there is a sense of effortless harmony between them that blossoms on songs like “Reminder” and our favorite, “Follow My Backlights”. The session is a pleasure to listen to time and time again.
