O’s Notes: Guitarist Royce Campbell heard Paulien singing one night in Charlottesville, VA. He was impressed enough to send her a few of his compositions. She liked them, they got together and this album was born! It is a collection of eleven of Campbell’s songs (words and music) sung by Paulien. Charlotte Roberts (cello), Tony Martucci (d), Tom Baldwin (b), Tony Nalker (p) and Campbell (b) provide the musical foundation for Paulien to express her interpretation of the lyrics. Among the best were “You Are” highlighted by Royce’s solo and “Many Loves Ago”.
