O’s Notes: The Le Boeuf Brothers have taken audience engagement to a new level with Remixes. They invited their fans to submit remixes of songs on 2011’s In Praise of Shadows. The brother’s favorites are featured on this CD, a dose of techno- jazz with an abundance of electronics, some light vocals and popping club beats. There are three takes on “Everything You Love” with unique interpretations and a hip rap featuring Nickel Killsmics & Nina Gelger on “Fading Alert” perhaps the best of the lot along with “Green Velvet”.
