O’s Notes: Pianist Bob Gluck leads a trio with Michael Bisio (b) and drummer Dean Sharp performing eight original tracks. They warm up on “Lifeline” setting the stage for a free flowing session. Gluck’s compositions have a lot of layering with each member operating on different planes. They remain connected through the theme of each track. We enjoyed the title track featuring a solid solo by Bisio and the use of dynamics throughput the set to draw us into the performance.
