O’s Notes: Barbara breathes sweet, soft vocals on top of a rich string orchestra. Classic pop artists including Yes, Springstein, Bon Jovi, U2 and Billy Idol, originally performed each of the eleven selections. All of the music was produced, arranged and conducted by Earl Rose. The songs are truly transformed and in most cases only recognizable by the words. Lusch does a good job with the music. Rock Me Sweet could appeal baby boomers that enjoyed these originals and are not offended by the altered approach.
