O’s Notes: Joe Locke plays vibes, Geoff Keezer mans the keyboards. The band is a quartet with Mike Pope (b) and Terreon Gully (d). The vibe is a cool, peaceful fusion that is easy to warm up to. Joe wrote four tunes and Geoff wrote two along with a couple of covers to round out the set. Among the best are “Darth Alexis” and “Terraces”as both players perform to their reputations.
