O’s Notes: Brian (t) and Eddie (p) combine to produce a rather appetizing collection of Latin tunes. They didn’t hold back with the selection of supporting musicians. Greg Tardy (sax), Phil Woods (sax) are Donald Harrison (sax) are just a few of the talented cast. Ruben Rodriguez’ bass line sets off “Guajira Dubois” with sharp brass accents, just one example of the party. It’s non-stop over nine tracks.
