O’s Notes: Kathy sings ten pop ballads on top of club beats. There is an abundance of electronic instrumentation with Sanborn (keyboards) composing and playing all of it. She gets some help from Wayne Ricci (t); otherwise it’s a one-woman show! It is all smooth jazz like the radio-friendly “Be Coolin'”. “Catch The Wave” with Ricci’s muted trumpet was a solid final track and our favorite.
