O’s Notes: Snakeheads & Ladybugs is an unusual duet pairing drummer Jack Mouse with saxophonist Scott Robinson. They feed off of each other in a coordinated, dynamic collection of modern free jazz. The sound stage is open and the music is peaceful though it may be too abstract for many listeners. Hats off to Scott and Jack for dancing on the edge.
