O’s Notes: Butler is an entertainer with an abundance of energy that flows into his audience. His recordings are great and his live performances even better! Rendezvous continues that trend. He delivers a meaningful message with “You Got To Believe In Something”. The vocals are complimented by spirited instrumentals like “Make Room For Me” and “I Pay Respect” that allow Butler to display his prowess on guitar! Angie Stone (vocals) makes a guest appearance teaming up with Jonathan on “Be Here With You”. Rick Braun (t) and Dave Koz (sax) also contribute to a fine set.
