O’s Notes: This is an eclectic mix of progressive jazz from founder Brian Haas (p), Josh Raymer (d), Chris Combs (lap steel), and Jeff Harshbarger (b). The JFJO is from Oklahoma and have been around for about 20 years ranging from three to eight members. They launch into a new realm of eclectic improvisational jazz with Stay Gold. It is not as dark as past efforts but still as adventurous. They at not afraid to take risks and it has paid off with a steady following who will enjoy this latest offering.
