O’s Notes: Guitarist Graham Dechter assembles a fine quartet with Jeff Hamilton (d), John Clayton (b) and Tamir Handelman (p). The program is mostly swinging standards with a few originals “Grease for Graham” by Clayton and two by Dechter. They really cook on “Hocus Pocus” and “Road Song” but also sooth us with “Amanda” rounding out a fine session. Dechter scores on this sophomore CD showing promise of more great music to come!
