O’s Notes: Veteran jazz guitarist Larry Luger leads a band with Tom Olin (fl, cl), Dave Hofstra (b), Gregory Buford (d), Kathleen Scarborough (violin) and Greta M. Herron (vocals). These are all original tunes with a variety of approaches. They open with the Latin-flavored “Song For Augusta” followed by “Larry’s Blues in C Minor” a platform for Luger to cook! He also soothes us on ballads like “Warm Resonations”. Herron’s vocalizations blend in with the instrumentation softening any burrs. Larry takes the microphone for the title track, a fitting finale.
