O’s Notes: Pat pays homage to the Beatles singing ten of their hits. It’s tough to go wrong with these classics. Mark Kieswetter (p), George Koller (b) and Davide DiRenzo (d) are the band behind Murray. Koller plays sitar on “Here Comes the Sun” and adds backing vocals on “Hello Goodbye”. The music is familiar but it is cast in a different light with swinging female vocals, especially on “Things We Said Today” and the Latin infused “It’s Only Love” including a trumpet solo from Bruce Cassidy. We also enjoyed “Lucy in the Sky” in one of the most transformational Beatles tributes to date.
