O’s Notes: They play an adventurous blend of Avant Garde and jazz-fusion. “Caustic Raptures Of The Cloven Hoof” has a psychedelic carnival atmosphere with the sax melody overlaying the rhythms. The beats hold together well though the combinations are atypical. The rich trumpet melodies on “The Sea, The Bells” and “Maleficent Oblations To A God Of Benevolence” are highlights in a very creative session.
