O’s Notes: Nathan Hiltz plays guitar and bass pedals (simultaneously). Johnny Griffith plays sax and bass clarinet. They invite drummer Sly Juhas to keep time. They seek to recreate childhood memories in their compositions. There are bits of rock and roll mixed with jazz-fusion in a playful set. We liked “For Otis” and “This Is What You Get” best of all.
