O’s Notes: Pianist Larry Willis has been performing for many years but solo recordings had been out of his focus for many years. For This Time The Dream’s On Me, he performs a few originals, some tried and true favorites, and some lesser-known standards. The ten selections are peaceful, dynamic and reflective. The piano is a Fazoli F278, one of the finest concert grands available. Larry extracts the most from it! We especially enjoyed his arrangements of “Lazy Afternoon” and “True Love”.
