O’s Notes: Guitarist and keyboard player, Anandasivam leads the charge with a different stroke of jazz-fusion. Joy wrote, arranged and produced this album. The opener hints at the sounds of Cape Town while “All She Brings” moves towards fusion featuring Alan Caron (b) and Vineet Vyas (tabla). “Lil’ Mani” has a country twist with the nylon strung guitar before Joy returns to electric fusion on “Bird Seed”. Trichy Sankaran’s work on “Magudi” brings some hints of India. It’s modern jazz from the East.
