O’s Notes: Transitions is quite a journey across the contemporary jazz landscape and capturing all of Bob’s influences. He touches on blues, fusion, R&B, smooth jazz and presents a rich vocal on “Trees”. Victor Bailey plays bass; Argenti plays piano; Kenwood Dennard keeps time; and producer Larry Coryell plays guitar on a couple of tracks. Wolfman’s many influences on guitar can be heard throughout the session and it all comes together as one.
