O’s Notes: Strangely enough, Olavi happens to be the middle name of each of the musicians hence the name of the band, Olavi Trio! Jari O. Hongisto (tb), Teppo O. Hauta-aho (b) and Niilo O. Louhivouri (d) are Finish musicians who seek to bring clarity to the musical experience without words. They span three generations in age but are very connected musically respecting each other enough to allow their creative juices to flow unencumbered. There is ample space to decifer thoughts and to engage in the melodies along the way. If you do, you may bring reason to the chaos that continuously surrounds us.
