O’s Notes: Drew is a new face on the smooth jazz circuit and one to be reckoned with! He plays bubbly guitar riffs with catchy hooks and had a hand in writing most of the material for True Drew paying homage to Benson, Klugh, Carlton and Ford. Guest artists Eric Marienthal (sax), Gerald Veasley (b) and Bobby Lyle (keys) add support along the way. We enjoyed the Latin swing on “95 South”, “I’m Into You” and “I Can’t Help It” among others. Davidsen will be on the scene for a while!
