O’s Notes: German pianist leads a trio with bassist André Pousaz and Julian Sartorius on drums. They perform eight Aeby originals in a relaxed dynamic session that is noteworthy on many counts. The songs are well developed; the band is disciplined and the music flows! Utopia is a world-class effort that is well recorded and easy to engage in.
