O’s Notes: Barb stands out in front of the band with vocals that are projected, crisp and clear. Her voice is pleasant and the lyrics make sense adding to our enjoyment. Harmonies come with backing vocals from Jenny Carr (p) and Jessica Lauren (harmonica, organ) and Jungr as well. The thirteen songs are a mix of originals and some pop and country blues classics. Among the best were “Who Do You Love” arranged in a vamp style, “Walking In Memphis”, the honky-tonk of “Take Out Some Insurance” and the title track. SACD
