O’s Notes: Candye tells it like it is starting with the title track. She speaks of low-income life in the blues format, somewhat of a parody format. The stories are those of life experiences, some painful but all realistic. Kane’s voice is strong and rich, especially on blue ballads like “I Could Fall For You”. Some of the tunes are a bit more provocative than general audiences can stand, e.g. “Masturbation Blues”. But don’t get offended, sit back and enjoy these rockin’ blues.
