O’s Notes: Pianist Green drew on his life experiences as inspiration for this project. That is a broad spectrum that includes many different elements and emotions of life. “Para Chano” is a soft reflective piece with subtle complexity contrasting with “Gigi”, a more jovial and upbeat tune. Danny’s notes are prominent but not dominating. He gets support from Justin Grinell (b), Dylan Savage (d), Allan Phillips (perc) and Tripp Sprague (sax). We liked the beats on “Panic Nap” & “Suite For The Americas” and the soothing notes of “Off The Streets”. Green has a promising future.
