O’s Notes: Amazonia is a masterful collection of Brazilian songs all inspired by nature. Guitarist and composer Mario Adnet is the musical director behind the effort performed by an orchestra in grand splendor. There are several vocal accompaniments that are exceptional. The composers include Jobim, Donato, Caymmi and Adnet. This is a peaceful yet vibrant depiction that is enjoyable and suitable for repeated listening.
