O’s Notes: Without doubt, this is a Latin sampler worth adding to your collection. It is a true celebration of the dedication Concord Jazz has maintained to Latin Jazz. The artists in the lineup are incredible: Eddie Palmieri, Poncho Sanchez, Caribbean Jazz Project, Ray Barretto, Tito Puente, Tania Maria, Cal Tjader, Monty Alexander, Mongo Santamaria, Chick Corea and Pete Escovedo. They all are represented with one of their best hits. We know there is more so we anxiously await Volume II! In the mean time this one stays in the Car CD changer.
