O’s Notes: Lara Iacovini is a contemporary jazz vocalist that makes a splash on Right Together, her latest release. Her band includes standouts Steve Swallow (electric bass) and guest Andrea Dulbecco (vibes). Steve also wrote the music on three selections with Lara (and Ferruccio Fusetti) writing the lyrics, notably “Bug In A Rug”. The music has a gentle bossa nova groove that is intimate and relaxing.
