O’s Notes: The Reddcoats are a sextet featuring Matt Bissonette (b), Gregg Bissonette (d), Andy Timmons (g, vocal), Michael Medina (perc), Ron Pedley (keyboards), and Wally Minko (keyboards). Timmons launches the set on the spicy, “Reddcoat Stew”, lighting it up again on “Mask Off, Mask On”. Matt puts his vocal stamp on “All For Me”. “Pump The Brakes” and “Tilt A Whirl” are other highlights. The songs seem to change genre midstream, but the technique works effectively for a very novel effect.
