O’s Notes: Bring Me Sunshine features Oleg Frish crooning in front of the Patrick Williams Big Band. This is a Russian vocalist singing American classics in front of a swinging large ensemble. He’s got an international accent with a vast knowledge of the American songbook. He became popular in the US with his radio show (in Russian) including many American music stars. They encouraged him to record and he does a good job. Frish includes top-notch artists and embellishes each selection. There is also a DVD detailing “The Making of the CD”.
