O’s Notes: Out Here is the latest from McBride who seems incredibly busy over the last 15 months or so. He leads a trio with pianist Christian Sands and Ulysses Owens, Jr. on drums. The bassist McBride presents another formidable effort with nine jazz and pop classics arranged to the bands strength. They swing hard and add subtle improvisation on top of the melodies to capture our attention and keep our heads bobbing in appreciation and enjoyment!
