O’s Notes: This is a Solo saxophone recording from Will Vinson. When we see a solo saxophone billing, we think about the guy in the train station with their case open for donations. Sometimes that’s random squawking and sometimes it’s almost-good. This encounter features Will Vinson with a lot of good melodies and rhythms that go far beyond squawking. He’s quite melodic on ”Yah”, one of fourteen brief selections totaling 36 minutes.
