O’s Notes: Josh Sinton is a Brooklyn-based baritone saxophonist who pays creative jazz along the lines of Steve Lacy. His music is free-flowing and spontaneous with intense passion and dynamics. Josh makes a lot of different statements for b., a solo effort. It’s a rather communicative volume that goes well beyond random musings. Yes, there is an abundance of cracked reeds, squawking and tonal air that collectively just makes sense.
