O’s Notes: Kim Nalley has a passionate, soulful voice that is resounding. She teams up with a foot-patting band including Tammy Hall (p) and Kent Bryson (d). Guest tenor saxophonist Houston Person is on his A-game for support, taking this one up another notch. Kim grabs us on the first track, “Teardrops From My Eyes” and never lets go! She takes ownership of these classics to make “I Want A Little Boy” a winner, one we could listen to all day! (the title track features guest vocalist Maria Muldaur)
