O’s Notes: Trombonist David Gibson dedicates this release to his six year old daughter, Maya, who is giving him a broader perspective on the world. This comes through in his music, where he lingers long enough on the notes to allow the tones to ring through, where the blitzes have turned into musical passages. He still cooks but now he swings as well!
