O’s Notes: Yes, as the title suggests, these are hot tracks, evident from the opener “La voz del Caribe”. Eddie bounces around on the piano using both hands to generate rhythms and melodies that snakes through the Latin percussion. There is a full complement of coros, congas, bongos, timbales, claves and maracas as well as trumpets, trombones, flute and saxophones. These are all of the right ingredients and the band cooks with true Latin spirit.
