O’s Notes: Tineke gets a sweet sound out of her also sax. She hails from the Netherlands and has won numerous awards for her achievements to date. Postma plays straight-ahead jazz but can also get funky from time to time. Postma really shines with a strong introduction to “Moody Voyage”. She wrote most of the tunes on this debut recording. The songs are well integrated and the European musicians backing her are excellent. This is a great start!
