O’s Notes: Guitarist Jason McGuire has excellent flamenco techniques. His articulation is flawless on racy tunes like “Sangre Tejana” and “Distancias” where he shares some of the melodies with violinist Chris Kranyak. There are also a couple of tracks with funky Caribbean percussion like “Aires De Mozambique” and “Loisaida”. This is a very energizing session. McGuire begs you to share his passion with his intensity.
