O’s Notes: This Christmas set is a jazzy as they come featuring Hubert (p) and his organ trio combined with Chris Gestrin’s B3 Kings. They tackle all of the favorites from “Jingle Bells” to “I Saw Momma Kissing Santa Claus”. The best thing about this one is that it is really cool jazz based on the carols that are recognizable but used as platforms for their improvisation.
