O’s Notes: Tom plays trumpet and arranges most of the music for A Reflected Journey. This is a mellow swinging set of covers that resonated with us. Pianist Dave Leonhardt makes a notable effort along with Roger Rosenberg (sax, b cl). We liked “Con Alma”, the mellow title track and “Grazing in the Grass” best.
