O’s Notes: Pianist Anat Fort leads a trio with Gary Wang (b) and Roland Schneider (d). The music is all original by Fort. The program starts with an upbeat, pleasant dedication to “Paul Motian”. The core selections are darker and more sedative. We enjoyed the relaxing mood of “En If” and the well-developed dynamic soundscape of “Something ‘Bout Camels”. This is music that you can relax with or simply enjoy listening to.
