O’s Notes: Ingrid continued to surprise us throughout this session with strong licks on her trumpet. Her technique was strong and she also expressed a lot of emotion through her horn. The nine tracks were a nice collection or newly arranged standards and originals. We particularly like the Cole Porter tune, “Everything I Love” and the swinging cool “Swotterings” with guitarist Lage Lund.
