O’s Notes: Myra (p, harmonium) leads a quintet playing ten all new eclectic compositions. The sounds are threaded together in a loose fashion – free form. Melford’s harmonium dominates the soundscape and defines the sound that is indeed unique. Brandon Ross (g, banjo, voice), Cuong Vu (t), Stormu Takeishi (b) and Elliot Humberto Kavee (d) fill in the gaps. We liked the finale “Made It Out” best.
