O’s Notes: Veteran R&B crooner Phil Perry has delighted audiences for decades. While his beard is now grey, his vocals are still golden! Phil enlists support from drummer, producer and composer Chris “Big Dog” Davis who ushers Perry into today’s vibe without losing the magic that made him a household name. The program is a good mix of old and new tunes notably “One Less Bell To Answer”, “Do Whatcha Gotta Do” and the title track. The entire set is enjoyable and one that old and new fans can enjoy. This is what soul music was and can still be!
