O’s Notes: Guitarist Thom Douvan leads a cool jazz band with Duncan McMillan (B3), Tony Malfatti (sax) and five different drummers. This is the standard organ trio plus one. They serve up a contemporary jazz set with laid back covers of R&B tunes like “For The Love of You”, “Sara Smile”, “What’s Going On” and “Stop On By” to name a few. The arrangements are fresh and usher in the classics in good form making this a reminiscing winner!
