O’s Notes: A.G.N.Z. is a quartet featuring guitarist Jay Azzolina, Dino Govoni on sax, drummer Adam Nussbaum and bassist Dave Zinno. Dave and Adam had a successful tour in Europe that sparked interest in doing more together. They all convened in Providence, RI and their dream became reality. Each of the band members contributes at least one composition to this all-original set. That gives the session lots of variety as the Chance Meeting evolved into a strong session where the musicians gelled as a band. Among the best tunes are “N.T.I.”, “1 Of 3” and “Asha”.
