O’s Notes: The choice here is contemporary jazz. It ranges from the funky fusion of the opener “Never Give Up” to mellow tunes like “Snuggle Up” featuring Bromberg with his bass tuned to sound like a guitar – it does! He also includes a wealth of melodic bass solos. There are a few smooth jazz tracks for background listening. Each tells a story in his life. One thing is very apparent, Bromberg is loaded with talent and uses it effectively now matter what style of jazz he is playing.
