O’s Notes: Dave plays a warm and pleasant jazz flute that is inviting and light spirited. It makes his takes easy to enjoy by almost anybody. The festive beats of “Enciendo”, an original are a prime example. Other highlights are “Mind Games” and “Song For My Brothers”. We also make note of the strong performance from pianist and arranger Bill O’Connell.
