O’s Notes: Ryan Keberle is one of New York’s finest trombonists. His love for Brazilian music leads to Considerando, his second collaboration with Collectiv do Brasil: Paulinho Vicente (d), Felipe Silveira (p), and Felipe Brisola (b). They celebrate the songbook of composer/guitarist/vocalist Edu Lobo. The combination is beautiful. Keberle shines on “Blackbird”, “Edu”, and “Even Now” while Silveira makes a fine statement on “Casa Forte” in a delightful engagement!
