O’s Notes: This is a party of sorts for sax player Jane Bunnett and her husband, trumpeter Larry Cramer, who have been performing in Cuba for over 20 years. They join up with the native musicians for concerts. This trip takes them outside of the boundaries of Havana. The music is alive and full of Latin percussive and drum beats capturing the true country spirit with chants and Spanish lyrics.
